Penny, BA, LCMT, Creator of Surripulation® Massage
Hi everyone! I am a 24-yr bartender/waitress/manager/medical assistant/educator and 15-yr LCMT career service provider. Extreme chronic pain & structural deformity hindered 30 of my young, flexible, great gene years. All therapies failed me. I always wits-end-wall craved a raw miracle-mend body massage overhaul! Hope got me through. My curious intuitive “natural fascia forte instinct” I can only attribute to God.
I attended SOMA Institute of Clinical Massage, Chicago, IL in 2007 at age 42. I paid $15K to learn TONS about “mass fascial elasticity” and muscle flexibility/pliability NONE. Sadly, mass fascial elasticity is STILL a SILENT best kept secret thing. Initially, I set out to fix me. Innovating a mass fascia release methodology for greater career purpose to also help others in my own clinic was entirely unplanned.
Fascial elasticity is longtime known to optimize ALL body functions and systems despite arthritis, stenosis, scoliosis, surgeries, broken bones, injuries, stress, etc. “long life gifts”. I am my own 2023 age 48-59 daily pain-FREE mobility proof. My old intact daily hurting body was merely an “angry bonded fascial mass”. Maybe so is yours! I 24/7 ambition-implore a chronic population to suffer no more and “mass fascial elasticity” soar.
My expert LMT team turns weak-needy, pill-popping, stiff-tight-tension, pain-FILL doom into SELF-resilient supple DAILY pain-FREE life bloom. For me, greatest well-being = mass manual release. With daily energy and gratitude I love natural body bylaws, movies, music, parties, puzzles, dogs, eating, dancing, living, learning, connecting, and pursuing my Holistic Medicine & Healing Nutrition PhD, ND.
Kevin, LCMT
Hello everyone! My name is Kevin. I am very grateful to Penny for teaching me her mass fascia release methods. I experienced my first 60-minute table session in July 2022. I could not fathom how free my body felt or that I could get similar gains at home on my floor. This blew my mind. Applying this method consistently was the best thing I have done in my life. I look forward to helping others experience the same.
An enthusiastic athlete, I challenge my personal best outcomes all the time. I endured various tedious injuries while competing in high school sports. I dreaded being benched but I was fascinated by the knowledge the Athletic Trainer conveyed. My deep interest for bodywork began in my teens. I served 5.5 years in the Marine Corps. After more injury, two right shoulder surgeries, and tons of PT, I thought I had to live with restriction and pain for the rest of my life. I was age 24.
At age 27, I attended SOMA Institute of Clinical Massage in Chicago and my bodywork passion grew. At age 29, Penny’s out of the box release perspective gave me new game. I used to apply standard stretching, rolling, icing, balling, etc. but now all I ever apply instead is mass fascia release. Age 30, healthy and strong with no pain, I see no reason to do anything else.
If applied earlier in life, I truly believe this method could have prevented most of my injuries and surgeries. Having been on both “client and therapist” sides of the table, I feel I have a personal experience edge on recovery, healing, and repair. Outside of work, I enjoy family time, gaming, fitness, cooking, photography, and memes.
Jessica, LCMT
Hello I am Jessica. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 14 years. I graduated from Everest College. I am certified in Prenatal and Oncology Massage and I’ve been administering Surripulation® Massage at the Fascia Rescue® Massage Clinic in Oak Brook for nearly 3 years.
My approach to massage therapy is to massage my clients how I would like to be massaged. First I make sure my clients are comfortable. Then I focus on good pressure, paying special attention to chief complaint areas, but also recognizing that the body works as “one”.
I am a busy mother of 4 and I have had my fair share of aches and pains. This massage methodology and applying the floor method maneuvers at home has been a great advancement in my life to help me to keep doing the things that I love, such as working out, walking, and playing with the kids.
