Kevin, LCMT

Hello everyone! My name is Kevin. I am very grateful to Penny for creating her Massfascial® release approach. I experienced my first 60-minute table session in July 2022. I could not fathom how free my body felt or that I could get similar gains at home on my floor. This blew my mind. Applying this method consistently was the best thing I have done in my life. I look forward to helping others experience the same.

An enthusiastic athlete, I challenge my personal best outcomes all the time. I endured various tedious injuries while competing in high school sports. I dreaded being benched but I was fascinated by the knowledge the Athletic Trainer conveyed. My deep interest for bodywork began in my teens. I served 5.5 years in the Marine Corps. After more injury, two right shoulder surgeries, and tons of PT, I thought I had to live with restriction and pain for the rest of my life. I was age 24.

At age 27, I attended SOMA Institute of Clinical Massage in Chicago and my bodywork passion grew. At age 29, Penny’s out of the box release perspective gave me new game. I used to apply standard stretching, rolling, icing, balling, etc. but now, in my work for Fascia Rescue® Massage Clinic, all I ever apply instead is Massfascial® release. Age 30, healthy and strong with no pain, I see no reason to do anything else.

If applied earlier in life, I truly believe this method could have prevented most of my strain injuries and surgeries. Having been on both “client and therapist” sides of the table, I feel I have a personal experience edge on recovery, healing, and repair. Outside of work, I enjoy family time, gaming, fitness, cooking, photography, and memes.
